Bison Trounce Eagles; Partridge and d'Artois Named to All Tourney Team

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Howard volleyball team swept Coppin State, 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-13) on the final day of the Bryant Invitational on Sunday. The Bison hit .354 in the decison as HU wrapped up the tourney with a 2-1 mark. 

d'Artois led all players with a match-high 15 kills. Sophomore Taylor Montgomery had eight kills and junior Nia Moore added seven. Partridge contributed three kills and junior Nicole Brown dug out 15 balls, a match-high.

d'Artois finished the weekend with 48 kills, 28 digs, seven aces and six blocks, earning an all-tourney nod for her efforts. Partridge totaled 15 kills and eight digs in three matches and joined d'Artois on the all-tournament team.

Howard will look to continue its winning ways when it hosts Winston-Salem State on Sunday, Oct. 4.
