dArtois, Brown Earn All-MEAC Honors
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Outside hitter Gazelle d'Artois (Newhall, Calif.) and libero Nicole Brown (Long Beach, Calif.) earned All-MEAC honors, the conference announced today.
d'Artois was named first team All-MEAC for the second consecutive year. The junior was named MEAC Player of the Week three times while also garnering all-tournament honors four times this season. She leads the team in kills (203) and kills per set (3.80 kps).
Brown leads the squad in digs (401) and digs per set (3.37 dps). The junior ranks second on the team in service aces (27) and has posted four 20+ dig sets this season.
Howard faces off with Florida A&M in the quarterfinals of the MEAC Championship on Friday at 4 p.m.
