HOWARD VOLLEYBALL KICKS OFF SEASON AT RIDER
WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – The Howard University women's volleyball team kicks off the season at Rider University on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 1:00 p.m. in Lawrenceville, N.J., in the Student Recreation Center.
Rider "Broncs"
- The Rider University women's volleyball team went 5-25 overall in 2011, with a 3-5 finish in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
- The Broncs return 13 letterwinners including sophomore Jaclyn Webber (Anaheim, Calif./Canyon) who was eighth in the MAAC and 221st nationally averaging 3.16 kills per set and sophomore Ashlee Amatulli (Menifee, Calif./Temecula Valley) who was ninth in the MAAC and 115th nationally averaging 0.33 aces per set.
