FIVE HOWARD VOLLEYBALL ATHLETES EARN ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS
WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – On Nov. 15, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference announced the 2012 Volleyball All-Academic selections, which honors 55 student-athletes for the 13 MEAC institutions who excelled outside of the court during the 2011-12 academic school year.
Five Howard University volleyball student-athletes, who were in their sophomore, junior or senior during the 2011-12 academic year, with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average were eligible for the conference honor
"I applaud our volleyball student-athletes who have maintained a 3.0 or better grade point average during the 2011-12 academic school year," said Commissioner Dennis E. Thomas. "I would further like to commend the coaches and academic support staffs for their contributions to the academic success of our student-athletes."
