HUNT VALLEY, MD. - Freshman Ashley Hodges finished third overall (19:05) as the Howard Cross-Country teams posted strong finishes at the Towson Meet on Sept. 8.

Hodges paced the women to a seventh place finish with 186 points while the men finished sixth with 181.

Brittany Jackson finished the course in 20:49.74 for the Lady Bison while Thurman Sanders took 22nd in 28:14.51 for the men. Michael Gallion and Jerod Franklin finished in 28:48.76 and 29:59, respectively.

Howard returns to action Sept. 15 when they travel to Harrisonburg, Va. for the James Madison Invitational.
