Sanders named MEAC Cross-Country Performer of the Week

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Thurman Sanders (Philadelphia, Pa./Central H.S.) has been named the MEAC Cross-Country Performer of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Sanders was the highest men's finisher for the Bison last weekend, finishing 10th overall (27:56.4) at the James Madison meet on Sept. 15. The sophomore helped his team to a third place finish.

The Bison will return to action this weekend at the Cappy Anderson Invitational, hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore, on Sept. 22.
