PRINCETON, N.J. - Howard opened up its cross-country season on Saturday at the Old Nassau Run, hosted by Priceton University.

Thurman Sanders was the top finisher for the Bison on the men's side, clocking in at 26:59.90.

Richard Williams crossed the line in 28:24.50 while Michael Gallion finished in 28:57.00.

Jerod Franklin (29:14.20), Hamadi Price (30:58.50) and Andre Williams (32:58.90) also turned in good performances for Howard.

The women saw five of its own cross the line with Ashley Hodges taking top team honors in 24:19.40.

Jami Hardy finished in 27:42.90 while Brittany Jackson clocked in at 28:08.10.

Tamila Myles (28:51.20) and Azalia King (30:20.40) round out the top finishers for the Lady Bison.

Howard returns to action on Sept. 20 at the Cappy Anderson Invitational in Princess Anne, Md.
