WASHINGTON, D.C. - Ashley Hodges will represent the Howard women's cross-country team next weekend at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship, hosted by Princeton University on Saturday, Nov. 15.

The California native, an All-MEAC performer at the MEAC Cross-Country Championship, enters the event with the third best time (17:58.07) among the league leaders.

"The meet will be challenging, yet I think we will be able to compete with the best individuals there" said head coach Michael Merritt.

Athletes are competing to qualify for the NCAA Championships, which will take place Nov. 24 at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.
