CENTREVILLE, VA. - The Bison cross-country team faired well at the George Mason Invitational on Saturday at Bull Run Park (Centreville, Va).

Ashley Hodges was the top finisher for the Lady Bison. The sophomore was 31st in 23:16 while Jami Hardy crossed the line in 25:21.

Brittany Jackson (26:25) and Tamila Myles (26:38) also ran the course for HU.

Lauren McNary finished the race in 28:00 and Azalia King ran the 6K in 29:22.

Senior Thurman Sanders was the top finisher on the men's side, crossing the line in 26:31. Richard Williams finished in 27:48 and Peter Gentles completed the 8K course in 28:43.

Andre Williams (30:19) and George Johnson (31:21) round out the Bison finishers.

Howard is off for two weeks, next returning to action on Oct. 18 at the Blue Hen Classic in Newark, Delaware.
