The Howard University cross country teams commenced the 2012 season with success as the men’s squad topped the Delaware State event with a first place finish and the women’s squad came in third.

Bison Men Finish Third; Giovani, Harrison and Rono Named All MEAC
Princess Anne, MD—October 29--Mowatt Giovani, Aaron Harrison and Elly Rono were all named to the 2011 All MEAC Cross Country team after their combined efforts helped Howard capture third place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference cross country championship this past Saturday at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The Bison finished with 76 points to finish behind second place Florida A&M (54), and 2011 champion, Norfolk State (30). It was Howard’s highest finish since 2007 when it also finished third.

Cross Country Teams Continue to Show Improvement
LEESBERG, Va. - The Howard University men's and women’s cross country team competed at George Mason University this past Saturday Oct. 1, 2011. Both squads continue to show improvement as the men’s team placed fifth, while the women took seventh.

WASHINGTON, DC – Kyle Riley and Saadia Doyle highlighted the honorees as they were named Howard’s male and female athletes of the year at the annual Bison Awards Ceremony held on April 19, 2011. In addition, over 50 other student athletes were honored for their athletic and academic achievements.
