This exemption allows customers to get the difference waived for flights rescheduled prior to June 16, 2022 within the same service area as the original booking. The Prime Minister also asked employees and their unions to be flexible with their demands.
A number of flights were affected because the absence of assistance on airports within Jamaica because of the lack of personnel, which resulted in cancellations of flights.
