Besides the 950 platinum and the fluted bezel, the new Rolex Day-Date 40 also gets the Calibre 3255 movement that offers a power reserve of up to 70 hours. It can be hard to find newly launched watches but there are websites like watchmaestro.com that can source one for you.

Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222
Vacheron Constantin has recently announced the launch of a new version of the iconic 222, in yellow gold. While it takes a lot of its design cues from the original, it does bring a certain number of changes to the table. When it comes to luxury watches, Vacheron Constantin is one of the oldest standing brands. The 222 was initially launched to celebrate the brand’s 222nd anniversary. And now 45 years later, the design has still managed to fascinate the watch enthusiasts and collectors alike.
The all-new Historiques 222 brings the distinctive, hexagonal-link integrated bracelet and it uses Vacheron’s in-house caliber 2455/2 movement. The updated movement has also allowed the watch to achieve a thinner chassis.
Patek Philippe Calatrava Reference 5226G
When it comes to luxury watches from the house of Patek, the most desired collection is the Nautilus. But there is a whole different fan base that keeps an eye out for a new Calatrava every year. The Swiss watch manufacturer has added the new reference 5226G to the classical Calatrava collection.
Owing to its roots, the new Calatrava model also uses a round case. The new variant uses syringe hands and features Arabic numerals. It has a lacquered charcoal grey dial with a textured finish and beige lume.
Should you wait for the new watches?
The straightforward answer would be – Yes! The state-of-the-art design work on these new watch collections and advanced technology surely makes them desirable. But everything comes at a price. Since the new luxury watches have just arrived, there is going to be a waitlist. If you do not mind waiting a bit before you get your hands on the timepiece, then sure it is going to be worth the wait.
On the other side, you can always go for another model for now and trade them for the new ones later as luxury watches in Dubai retain their value quite well.
